A telescoping device will not work because the pot lights are not compatible with a suction device. Are their any recommended scaffolding or ladders?
Some of the ceilings in my home are 20 feet high. How do I change the lightbulb.?
Maybe a pogo stick and jump. LOL I envy you with 20 ft ceilings - your place must be amazing. There are also telescoping poles with grabers on the end made just for this. It is like fingers and when you twist the pole, they tighten around the bulb allowing you to screw it out. I would invest in hanging chandeliers that come to about 14 feet from floor to make lighting better and add to the effect. You can then use floor spots to light the massive space above 14 feet. Then any good ladder would work.

Some places rent motorized scaffolding units that are made for that purpose. Check with your local tool rental store. You may be able to search for one in your area online. I know hotels frequently use these units. Maybe you could ask a hotel in your area where they get theirs.
Nineteen foot ladder

these are also available at home depot... it extends 14' so I also use a 6 or 8 foot ladder...
About all you can do is get a step ladder high enough to reach the bulb.
go to lowes and tell them what you have. they will show you the ladder that you need.it telescopes and has 4 legs for stability
They also sell one with long tabs with a spring around them. It slips over the bulb and gripps it for removal and instillation. I saw it at either lows or home depot.
yo can get a scaffold from your local rental place, make sure you ask for a aluminum one there are light and easy to install
plus only cost 10-20 dollars per day
My 7yr old says put a trampoline under the light , jump, and put the light bulb in.
